Political noise won’t hurt economy, says NEDA Chief

Political noise is not shaking the country’s economic stability, according to National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary Arsenio Balisacan.

Speaking at a Malacañang press briefing, Balisacan assured that the Philippine economy remains on solid footing despite the ongoing political turbulence. “It’s business as usual,” he emphasized, dismissing concerns about the potential impact of political disputes on the nation’s economic trajectory.

Balisacan underscored that what truly matters are the sound and sustained economic policies being implemented under the current administration.
