Negros Occidental groups mobilize relief efforts for Typhoon Tino victims

After Typhoon Tino, organizations across Negros Occidental quickly mobilized to assist affected communities, launching donation drives to gather much-needed support.

In Kabankalan City, the Hope Builders Organization Negros Island Incorporated (HBONI) is collecting cash and in-kind donations, especially water and rice, for families in Isabela town and La Carlota City.

99.7 Brigada News FM Kabankalan is also calling on listeners to donate, while the Graduate School of Central Philippines State University (CPSU) is initiating a separate donation drive.

The Negrosanon Young Leaders Institute Inc. (NYLI), Temple Christian Academy, and the STI West Negros University Supreme Student Government are appealing for donations to help residents in Isabela, Binalbagan, La Castellana, and La Carlota.

The farmer-led Paghida-et sa Kauswagan Development Group, Inc. (PDG, Inc.) is raising funds to assist thousands in need, while the Girl Scouts of the Philippines – Negros Occidental (GSP-Negros Occidental) Council is focusing on collecting water, which remains the most urgent need in typhoon-hit areas.
