Spain and Morocco have tightened security around Ceuta following social media calls for another mass migrant border crossing on August 15.
Spain has deployed additional police officers and soldiers, while Morocco has increased security personnel near the border.
Some migrants who previously entered Ceuta have also warned others against attempting the crossing, citing the risks involved.
The heightened security comes after a mass border crossing on July 30 that left at least 96 people dead and saw more than 72,000 migrants enter Ceuta.
