The Department of Justice (DOJ) has postponed the initial preliminary investigation hearing against the respondents linked to alleged anomalies in Bulacan flood control projects.
The hearing was delayed after work in government offices was suspended due to Typhoon Uwan.
Among those expected to attend the proceedings were former Department of Public Works and Highways engineers Henry Alcantara, Brice Hernandez, Arjay Domasig, Jaypee Mendoza, contractor Sally Santos, and several others.
According to DOJ spokesperson Polo Martinez, the hearing originally scheduled for today has been moved to November 14, 2025.
“In view of the suspension of work in government offices due to Super Typhoon, the initial hearing for preliminary investigation originally scheduled on November 10, 2025 for the 5 cases related to flood control projects in Bulacan shall be moved to November 14, 2025 (Friday), at which time respondents will receive copies of the complaints,” said Martinez.
