Vice President Sara Duterte emphasized that she has no personal relationship with Ramil Madriaga, the individual claiming to be her “bagman.”
In a statement, VP Sara said she never gave Madriaga any instructions and never visited him in jail.
She added that the photos submitted by Madriaga were “unrelated images” allegedly taken during public events, stressing that these pictures do not support his allegations.
The Vice President further pointed out that the opposing camp failed to present any documents, offering only accusations.
Earlier, in an interview with Brigada NewsFM Manila, Madriaga’s lawyer, Atty. Raymund Palad, claimed that VP Sara allegedly visited his client in jail on two occasions.
According to the Vice President, Madriaga appears to be desperate to secure his release, prompting him to spread baseless and unrealistic claims.
