A successful rescue operation by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has saved three young children from exploitation in Taguig City.
Agents from the NBI-Human Trafficking Division arrested a woman in her Taguig residence, where they allegedly discovered her in the process of creating explicit content involving her 17-year-old child, her 6-year-old son, and her 4-year-old niece.
Authorities confirmed that the children are now safe and under the care of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
The NBI reported that it acted on intelligence gathered in partnership with international law enforcement, which led to tracking the suspect’s alleged activities online.
The operation yielded evidence, including mobile devices, laptops, and other materials reportedly used in the creation of exploitative content.
According to authorities, the suspect had been selling these materials to clients abroad.
The suspect is now in custody and has been formally charged with the appropriate cases.
