NAGHATAG pagpaklaro ang labaw sa City Accounting Office kalabot sa isyu sa sweldo ni Celso Mendoza ang labaw sa Office of Senior Citizen Affairs kun OSCA-Gensan.
Sa gipadala nga mensahe ni City Accounting Officer Rhesababes Sumalpong pinaagi sa messenger nagkanayon kini nga, “That was Provided by the Law,The Term of the Osca Head is for 3 years,He was appointed on April 10,2018 and was supposed to end his term in April 10 2021.”
His term was extended by Mayor Rivera however,DILG issued Memorandum Circular 2017-18 setting the extension of term for a maximum of 3 Months.
Thus the extension of more than 3 months do not have a basis even if I wanted to process his claim for salary,I do not have a basis to allow it.
My office is here to see to it that all claims paid by the local government is valid, completely supported by documents,this is to ensure that government funds are safeguarded from misuse. So if that is the law, I have to uphold it.
