Cop stabs fellow officer inside CIDG at Camp Crame

A police officer stabbed a fellow officer inside the Anti-Organized Crime Unit of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group at Camp Crame early Tuesday morning, authorities said.

Both officers were under restrictive custody of the Philippine National Police after being linked to the alleged theft of cash evidence recovered during a raid on a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator hub in Bataan.

Police said the stabbing occurred inside the CIDG facility hours before the scheduled hearing of the case involving the two officers. The incident happened while they were still being held in connection with the investigation into the missing money allegedly taken from the seized evidence.
