If there are signs of anomalies, they must be exposed.

According to Tinio, they discovered 80 “red flags” from 121 projects in the city, including alleged irregularities and overpricing.

His call prompted a swift reaction from Davao City 1st District Rep. Paolo Duterte, who warned against using Davao for “political drama.” Duterte even challenged Tinio to visit the city and inspect the projects himself.

In an interview with Brigada News FM Manila, Tinio stood by his call, saying corruption must be brought to light.

He added that amid the flood control controversy, the Dutertes appear to project that projects in Davao City have been properly implemented since the previous administration.

Tinio also said there is a possibility of ghost projects based on the information they have gathered.
