VP Sara’s ratings rise as PBBM’s plunge continues in new survey

Vice President Sara Duterte saw a slight increase in her performance rating in April, according to the latest WR Numero survey.

Her approval rating climbed to 50%, a notable rise from 41% recorded in February 2025. The Davao-based survey firm conducted the poll to track public sentiment on key national leaders.

In contrast, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. continued to suffer a gradual decline. His latest approval rating fell to 29%, down from 30% in February.

The drop adds to a steady downward trend in Marcos’ ratings over the past year. He recorded a high of 66% in December 2023, which declined to 45% by September 2024, and further dipped in the latest findings.

Political observers are closely monitoring the changes, especially as Duterte gains traction while Marcos struggles to maintain public support.

WR Numero has yet to release additional data on the demographics or issues influencing the survey results.
