Singer Lani Misalucha is mourning the passing of her older sister, May Bayot-de Castro.
In an Instagram post, Lani shared a video honoring the people who become part of our lives and leave lasting memories, accompanied by the heartfelt message, “I love you Ate.”
Lani had previously shared her sister’s health struggles on social media, including appeals for financial assistance and blood donations to support May’s medical treatment.
In earlier posts, Lani also discussed the serious health complications her sister faced, along with the financial burden of her hospitalization and treatment.
May was a singer and award-winning theater actress, best known for portraying Elsa in the stage adaptation of Himala.
Several personalities from the entertainment industry also expressed their condolences to May’s family through messages on social media.
