Vice President Sara Duterte claimed that President Bongbong Marcos has committed several impeachable offenses.
She also remarked that the President’s behavior resembles that of a drug addict.
According to VP Duterte, gaslighting is a characteristic response of individuals addicted to drugs—referring to how President Marcos allegedly gaslighted his sister, Senator Imee Marcos.
Earlier, Sen. Imee revealed accusations that the President was allegedly using illegal drugs.
Following this, President Marcos pushed back, saying it seemed his sister had changed, which made their family worry about her. He even stated that the woman speaking on TV did not seem like his sister at all.
VP Duterte added that she is willing to accompany the President should he decide to undergo a hair follicle drug test.
Meanwhile, Duterte insisted that President Marcos has already committed numerous impeachable offenses.
Among these, she said, is his signing of the General Appropriations Act (GAA), which she described as the “best evidence” of the President’s involvement in budget insertions.
She claimed the President is liable because he allowed the insertions to proceed.
Despite these alleged offenses, VP Duterte said she would not file an impeachment complaint against PBBM. She explained that they would not waste time filing a complaint because she believes the House of Representatives would simply ignore it.
