Singapore Red Cross Sends Aid to the Philippines After Cebu Earthquake

The Singapore Red Cross (SRC) is providing SGD 50,000 (approximately PHP 2.2 million) to support ongoing relief operations in northern Cebu following the powerful earthquake.

The assistance will cover immediate medical needs as well as mental and psychosocial support activities conducted by the Philippine Red Cross (PRC).

In a statement, the SRC expressed solidarity with its sister national society and the affected communities during this time of crisis.

Additionally, the organization is considering the deployment of water filters to impacted areas.

The SRC assured that it will maintain close coordination with the PRC to ensure that aid reaches those who need it most.
