The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) continues to remind the public to take care of themselves as temperatures intensify.
With the heat index expected to reach up to 42°C, the risk of heat-related illnesses such as heat exhaustion and heatstroke remains high.
According to the PRC, health should be the top priority during this period.
The agency urged everyone to stay hydrated throughout the day, remain indoors as much as possible, avoid direct sunlight between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., and wear light and comfortable clothing.
If symptoms such as dizziness or muscle cramps occur, individuals are advised to move to a cooler place immediately and seek medical assistance.
Today, temperatures in Cavite City may reach as high as 42°C.
