Ipinag-utos ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos ang pagbuo ng Presidential Office for Child Protection o POCP, kasunod ng pagtaas ng mga kaso ng Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children.
Layon nitong maprotektahan ang mga bata sa physical at mental distress.
Ito ang laman ng inilabas na Executive Order no.67 ng Malacañang na pirmado ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin.
Sa ilalim ng naturang kautusan, mapapasailalim sa Office of the President ang POCP kung saan magiging head ang Presidential Adviser for Child Protection na nasa ilalim naman ng kontrol ng Special Assistant to the President.
Kabilang sa magiging function at duties ng POCP ang pag monitor, pagsasakatuparan ng mga polisiya at programa na magsusulong ng proteksyon ng mga kabataan partikular ang anti-online sexual abuse or exploitation of children at anti-child sexual abuse or exploitation materials.
Kasama rin sa POCP bilang myembro ang National Coordination Center, Inter Agency Council Against Trafficking, Council for the Welfare of Children, National Council Against Child Labor, at ang Committee for the Special Protection of Children.
