Glamorous social media influencers are being trafficked, abused, and abandoned in Dubai after being lured by fake modeling gigs and luxury travel offers, sources told The National Enquirer.
These women, many with large followings on platforms like TikTok and OnlyFans, are promised paid vacations, photoshoots, and VIP access. Instead, they arrive in the United Arab Emirates to face violent assaults, sexual slavery, and brutal blackmail schemes.
One of the most disturbing cases involves Maria Kovalchuk, a 20-year-old Ukraine-born OnlyFans model, who disappeared after telling friends she had been invited to a Dubai party by two men posing as modeling agents.
Model found bloody with shattered spine and missing teeth
Maria never made it to her return flight. After ten days missing, she was discovered severely injured on the side of a Dubai road. According to Ukrainian media reports, she had a broken spine, several fractured limbs, and missing teeth.
Dubai authorities claimed she wandered into a restricted construction site and fell. But investigators in her home country have opened a human trafficking probe, citing evidence she may have been drugged, assaulted, and forced into a sex ring.
Sources say she now suffers memory loss and cannot fully recall what happened.
Fake parties hide abuse, filming, and passport theft
Radha Stirling, CEO of Detained in Dubai, said her organization has documented dozens of cases where women are flown in under false pretenses, only to find themselves trapped.
She revealed that some women are pressured into sex acts, filmed without consent, drugged, or even blackmailed. Many have their passports confiscated and are left with no way out.
Influencer Kayla Jade, who escaped such a trap, said on TikTok that rich men in Dubai use their “dumb money” to degrade women as a twisted form of entertainment.
She explained that some men lure influencers into private homes or luxury yacht parties, where the abuse takes place behind closed doors.
Stirling added that the ringleaders are often protected by powerful connections. Victims who report the abuse are sometimes jailed themselves or forced to flee the country.
For years, rumors have swirled about women trafficked to the Gulf under the guise of modeling work. But Maria’s case, now under investigation in Ukraine, has sparked new urgency.
Despite the rising reports, Dubai police have not charged anyone in connection with Maria’s injuries. Instead, they maintain she fell.
Human rights investigators say they believe the real story has been buried — and that more victims will surface.
