DFA monitoring situation of Filipinos after bombing incident in Pakistan

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) continues to coordinate with the Pakistani government following a bombing incident at a Shiite mosque.

The attack resulted in multiple fatalities and left more than a hundred people injured.

According to the DFA, there have been no reports so far of Filipino casualties in the incident.

The agency added that it remains on high alert and is closely monitoring the situation, ensuring readiness to assist any Filipinos who may need help.

At present, at least 30 deaths have been reported, with authorities warning that the toll could still rise as several of the injured remain in critical condition.
