Boy Tapang surrenders to police over VAWC case in Cebu City

Social media personality Ronnie Suan, known online as Boy Tapang, voluntarily surrendered to police on May 30 following the issuance of a warrant of arrest in connection with a case of Violence Against Women and Their Children (VAWC).

Suan, 25, a resident of Barangay Daanlungsod in Alcoy, Cebu, was served the warrant at around 12:15 p.m. along JD Veyra Street, Barangay Carreta, Cebu City.

Police said Suan was allowed to post bail amounting to P72,000.
