Alleged “fake” medical result of PBBM now under NBI investigation

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is now coordinating with St. Luke’s Medical Center as it investigates an alleged fake medical report of President Bongbong Marcos that circulated on social media.

According to NBI spokesperson Palmer Mallari, authorities are determining how the medical result—described by Malacañang as “fake”—spread online.

They are also looking into the possible motive behind its circulation.

Meanwhile, even before the Palace announced that it would refer the matter to the NBI, Acting NBI Director Lito Magno had already ordered an investigation into the issue.

Earlier, St. Luke’s Medical Center denied the authenticity of the supposed medical report.

The hospital stressed that it strictly adheres to patient confidentiality and data privacy policies.
