AFP cites public’s confidence as proof of trust in soldiers’ service

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) said the public’s high level of trust and satisfaction, as shown in the latest OCTA Research survey, reflects the people’s confidence in the military’s professionalism and commitment to serve.

In a statement Wednesday, October 22, the AFP expressed gratitude to the men and women in uniform whose “professionalism and selfless service” continue to earn public respect across the country.

Results of OCTA’s “Tugon ng Masa” survey, conducted from September 23 to 30, showed 73 percent of adult Filipinos trust the AFP and are satisfied with its performance—equivalent to a net trust score of +66 and a net satisfaction rating of +68.
