BINI named Philippines’ new tourism ambassadors

The Department of Tourism (DOT) has officially named P-pop girl group BINI as the Philippines’ newest tourism ambassadors.

Tourism Secretary Dita Angara-Mathay said the group represents more than just tourism, describing BINI as a symbol of the Filipino people and the country itself.

During the group’s courtesy visit to the DOT Central Office in Makati City, both parties discussed upcoming partnerships that will support the agency’s efforts to promote the Philippines as a premier travel destination.

BINI recently showcased Filipino talent on the international stage through its performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, further expanding its global fan base.

The DOT believes the group’s growing international appeal will help boost Philippine tourism and showcase the country’s beauty to both local and international travelers.
