One person died while three others were injured after a private vehicle overshot a sharp curve along a road in Barangay Man-it, Passi City, Iloilo early Wednesday morning, June 11, 2025.
The fatality was identified as Alias Phil, 20 years old. The three injured passengers, all residents of Passi City, were immediately brought to the nearest hospital for medical treatment.
However, Alias Phil was declared dead on arrival by attending doctors.
Based on the initial investigation by the Passi City Police Station, the vehicle was heading toward the city center when the accident occurred.
Police reported that the vehicle failed to navigate the curved portion of the road, causing it to overshoot and crash.
Authorities are still conducting further investigation to determine the full circumstances surrounding the accident.
Police have yet to release additional details pending the results of their ongoing inquiry.
