Vice President Sara Duterte reminded Filipinos on Independence Day to never surrender the country’s freedom to traitors.

Duterte urged Filipinos to stay firm in protecting freedom and to not give up in the face of betrayal and oppression.
Her statement, “Wag isuko ang kalayaan sa mga taksil,” has gained attention, especially as she called on the public to continue fighting for the country’s independence.
