Trust ratings of President and Vice President both decline

The trust and performance ratings of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte both dropped in the 3rd quarter of the year.

According to the latest Tugon ng Masa Survey of OCTA Research, President Marcos saw a 7% decline in his trust rating—from 64% in July 2025 down to 57%.

His performance rating also dropped, from 62% in July to 54%.

Meanwhile, VP Sara Duterte also recorded lower ratings. Her trust rating slipped from 54% in July to 51%, while her performance rating went down from 50% to 49%.

Despite the declines, the study noted that most Filipinos still express trust and approval toward the President.

As for the Vice President, her ratings remain at majority level, although her performance rating slightly fell below the majority mark.
