A 44-year-old drug suspect was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Taguig City Police Station on February 18, 2025.
Led by Police Colonel Joey T. Goforth, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) carried out the sting at around 11:55 PM along Previda Street, Barangay New Lower Bicutan. The suspect, identified only as alias “John,” was caught in possession of illegal drugs.
Authorities confiscated two heat-sealed plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride), weighing 31.6 grams, with a street value of ₱214,880.
The suspect is now under police custody, and charges for violating Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are being prepared.
Authorities urge the public to report any suspicious activities to help maintain a drug-free community.
