Six people were killed and five taken to hospital in a serious vehicular accident in Barangay Malasila, Makilala, North Cotabato on Thursday morning.
According to the report, the 10-wheeler truck with the license plate number GPP- 431 lost its brakes and plowed into a house, multi-cab, motorcycle and people in the vicinity.
One of the casualties was Jeremiah “Maya” Pamplona, a five-year-old and kindergarten pupil at Ireneo R. Castro Memorial Elementary School and a resident of Purok Crasher, Patulangon, Malasila, Makilala.
Classes are suspended at all levels in Malasila, Makilala, North Cotabato due to the said accident.
Rescuers dug up the truck’s sack-heel fertilizer load, to find several parts of the victims’ bodies that had been allegedly separated from their bodies.
The investigation is still ongoing, to find out what really happened.
