The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) urged parents in Western Visayas to register their children for the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) as it resumes mobile and mall-based registrations.
To make the process more accessible, the PSA said that it has established several registration centers across Western Visayas.
In Iloilo, registrants can visit SM City Iloilo from Monday to Sunday (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.), Robinsons Place Iloilo from Monday to Saturday (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.), and Gaisano in Balasan from Sunday to Friday (8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.), the PSA disclosed.

Similarly, in Negros Occidental, registrants can head to Ayala Malls Capitol Central, SM City Bacolod, Robinsons Mall along Lacson Street, or Gaisano Grand City Central. Additionally, other centers are open at City Mall Cadiz, Gaisano Grand Mall in Silay, and Victorias City Mall in Victorias.
Meanwhile, in Capiz, residents can register at Robinsons Place Roxas, while PSA offices in various provinces continue to host fixed registration centers. These centers accommodate registrants of all ages and process demographic updates to maintain accurate records.
On the other hand, the PSA said that it is coordinating with hospitals to establish centers for registering children below one year old, ensuring that even infants are included in the national ID system.
Among provinces in Western Visayas, Iloilo currently leads with 2.2 million registrants, followed by Negros Occidental with 2.7 million. In addition, Capiz has registered 680,000 individuals, Aklan 544,000, Antique 539,000, and Guimaras 159,000.
The PSA aims to register 52,155 individuals in Western Visayas by the end of the first quarter of 2025. As of January 20, it had already registered approximately 6.9 million residents, with 4.35 million receiving their PVC PhilSys ID cards.
