PRC Denies Alleged Cheating in October 2025 PLE

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has denied reports of alleged cheating in the recently concluded October 2025 Physicians Licensure Examination (PLE).

In a statement, the PRC clarified that it has not received any official report concerning supposed cheating incidents during the exam.

However, the agency confirmed that it received information regarding certain violations committed by some examinees. While it did not provide further details, the PRC said the actions of these individuals were in violation of exam rules and regulations.

The commission added that appropriate measures are already being undertaken in accordance with existing policies and procedures.

The PRC assured the public of its firm commitment to uphold integrity, public trust, and confidence in the country’s professional regulatory and licensure systems.

This year’s PLE was held on October 4, 5, 11, and 12, with 5,900 examinees, of which 4,570 successfully passed.
