PBBM urges Filipinos to live with compassion and humility this Eid’l Fitr

Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. joined the Muslim Filipino community in celebrating Eid al-Fitr.

In his message, the President said the occasion marks the culmination of Ramadan—a month of prayer, fasting, reflection, and acts of kindness.

He noted that the celebration serves as a reminder that joy is often achieved through sacrifice, and that discipline in faith strengthens not only individuals but entire communities.

The President also emphasized that the meaningful way of life of Muslim Filipinos is reflected in homes that are open to others, in acts of charity that restore dignity, and in communities that face life’s challenges with resilience.

According to Marcos, the observance also promotes the tradition of “moral steadiness,” which can help foster unity in the country.
