President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul pledged to continue working together to combat transnational crimes.
This came following the bilateral meeting yesterday between the Philippines and Thailand after the ASEAN Summit 2026.
According to the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), the two leaders discussed issues aimed at further strengthening the long-standing partnership between the Philippines and Thailand.
The leaders also exchanged views on improving relations through high-level exchanges, trade and economic cooperation, and people-to-people ties.
Efforts to combat crime, particularly transnational crimes, were also among the topics discussed.
Aside from these, Marcos and Anutin also tackled various global issues and reaffirmed their commitment to ASEAN solidarity, regional peace, and stability.
