A man was stabbed to death in Barangay Wines, Davao City, after asking for squash. Police arrested the suspect.
A 51-year-old driver was fatally stabbed by his neighbor in Barangay Wines, Baguio District, Davao City, at around 10 a.m. on March 2, 2025.
According to an initial investigation by the Baguio Police Station, the victim was identified as Arnold Dulos, while the suspect was named Jeson Dalayon.
Authorities said Dulos was merely asking for squash when Dalayon allegedly became furious and suddenly attacked him with a knife, stabbing him multiple times.
The victim died on the spot due to severe injuries. The suspect attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended by authorities during a hot pursuit operation.
Dalayon is now detained at the police station and is facing murder charges.
