Beauty queen and TV host Joy Barcoma is officially saying goodbye to the pageant world.
After her Miss Earth Philippines 2025 journey, Joy revealed that she has no plans of joining another beauty pageant, saying she has already accomplished what she wanted from the experience.
“Wala na, tapos na ako sa pageantry. Ayoko na,” Joy said.
For Joy, her biggest achievement was being able to use her voice and platform to inspire and advocate for causes that matter to her—even beyond the pageant stage.
“Kasi, di ba, laging sinasabi kapag magdyo-join ka ng pageant, ‘I want to use my platform, I want to use my voice,’ she added.
With the opportunities that came after her win, Joy said she now wants to put more focus on her hosting career.
But while she may be closing the door on pageants, Joy is keeping another door wide open—acting.
The beauty queen said she is willing to take on any role if given the chance to enter showbiz as an actress.
As for her dream project, Joy admitted that she would love to share the big screen with none other than Kapuso heartthrob Alden Richards.
