Duterte warns Marcos Jr. may stay in power, Malacañang calls it ‘Fake News’

Former President Rodrigo Duterte warned that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. might stay in power beyond 2028, possibly imposing Martial Law to delay elections, similar to what his father, Ferdinand Marcos Sr., did decades ago.

Speaking at an indignation rally in Cebu, Duterte raised concerns about the state of democracy in the country. He urged the police force to make a moral decision and not blindly follow orders that could lead to dictatorship.
