Despite rising challenges and an ongoing fuel crisis, many Filipinos still traveled and queued early to participate in the blood donation drive.

Participants demonstrated strong civic responsibility by continuing to donate blood even while transportation costs and fuel prices remained high nationwide.

Each donation reflected acts of heroism, with every bag of blood symbolizing hope for patients and families in need communities everywhere.

Health advocates emphasized the importance of maintaining donor wellness, highlighting collaboration with Brigada Distributions and partner wellness organizations nationwide programs.

The initiative also underscored that maintaining good health ensures more Filipinos remain capable of regularly saving lives through donation efforts.

Organizers dedicated this year’s program to a quiet tribute honoring Brigada founder Elmer V Catulpos on his fiftieth milestone this April.

They said the celebration highlighted that lasting legacy comes from lives saved and communities strengthened through continuous service efforts nationwide.
