DILG: No Interpol red notice yet vs Roque

Interior Secretary Juanito Victor Remulla clarified that no Interpol red notice has been issued yet against former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque.

In a press briefing, Remulla said Roque’s passport has already been canceled, but no red notice has been released so far.

It can be recalled that Roque is currently facing a human trafficking case in connection with a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) hub in Pampanga.

Remulla also said that although he has a very close relationship with the former spokesperson, he cannot compromise his responsibilities as Interior Secretary because of their friendship.

He stressed that due process must still be followed. The secretary assured that all necessary steps will be taken once a warrant of arrest is issued.
