Pinahintulutan na ng Department of Health ang pagbibigay ng Booster shots ng COVID-19 vaccine para sa healthcare workers, senior citizens at iba pang eligible priority groups.
Ang booster shots at additional shots ay inirekomenda ng Health Technology Assessment Unit noong October 13, na kalaunan ay inaprubahan ni Health Secretary Francisco Duque.
Sa ilalim ng rekomendasyon ay bibigyan ng boosters ang senior citizens sa ikaapat na quarter ng taon.
Pero kailangan ay at least six months ang pagitan nito mula sa primary shots na natanggap ng pasyente.
