BINI added another major milestone to their growing list of achievements after being named Artist of the Year at the Filipino Music Awards 2026.
The “Nation’s Girl Group” also took home the Tour of the Year award for their Signals World Tour, further highlighting their impact on the local music scene and their growing international presence.
Jhoanna and Maloi accepted the honors on behalf of the eight-member group and became emotional as they thanked the Filipino music community and their fans for their unwavering support.
Jhoanna revealed that they went to the ceremony simply to celebrate OPM and did not expect to bring home the night’s top honor.
“Hindi ko alam paano magsisimula. Hindi namin in-expect ’to. We went here to celebrate kasi kami ni Ate Maloi, talagang fan ng OPM,” she said.
She also looked back on what she described as one of BINI’s most mentally and physically demanding years, especially as the group performed on bigger international stages, including Coachella.
“Dahil sa suporta ninyong mga Pinoy, maraming salamat po dahil pinaramdam ninyo sa amin kung gaano kasarap at kasayang marating ng OPM,” Jhoanna added.
Despite the challenges, Jhoanna said the continued support of Filipinos made their journey even more meaningful and showed them how rewarding it is to see OPM reach a wider audience.
Maloi, meanwhile, expressed the group’s overwhelming gratitude.
“Grabe, sobrang emotional lang namin. We are just so thankful. Our hearts are so full of gratitude and love, and we can’t wait to share this with our sisters,” she said.
Meanwhile, SB19 also made a strong showing at the awards, taking home three honors.
The group won Concert of the Year for Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Finale, along with the People’s Choice Awards for both Song and Artist.
Also earning multiple honors were Skusta Clee and Flow G, whose track Since Day One won Song of the Year and Hip-Hop Song of the Year.
Maki was named Album of the Year for Kolorcoaster, while Fitterkarma took home the Breakthrough Artist of the Year award.
