Matagumpay ang ikatlong Joint Maritime Cooperative Activity sa pagitan ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) sa West Philippine Sea kahapon.
Ang joint maritime activity ay nilahukan ng BRP Gregorio Del Pilar ng Philippine Navy at USS Gabrielle Giffords ng US Navy.
Itinampok sa aktbidad ang passing exercises, communication at photo exercise, division tactics at Officer of the Watch (OW) maneuvers.
Ayon kay AFP Western Command Commander, Vice Admiral Alberto Carlos,
ang tagumpay ng ikatlong AFP-USINDOPACOM Maritime Cooperative Activity ay patunay lamang sa pangako ng dalawang bansa sa pagtugon sa mga hamon ng seguridad at pagpapanatili ng isang bukas na Indo-Pacific region.
