The PCG has not yet disclosed the name of the vessel involved. The reason for the grounding was attributed to natural low tide conditions, although a formal investigation is expected to determine whether any procedural lapses contributed to the mishap.

The incident prompted reminders from maritime authorities to maintain communication with port officials when navigating in areas prone to tidal fluctuations.
