KORONADAL CITY- NASA 45 na mga responders sa South Cotabato ang isinailalim sa simulation drill kaugnay sa Explosive Related Incidents (ERI) at Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) na bahagi ng tatlong araw na Project Strengthening the Public Initiative against Catastrophic Events and Extremism (SPICEE).
Ang Project SPICEE ay isang programa na may layuning mabigyan ng sapat na kaalaman at awareness ang publiko sa mga banta ng mga Communist Terrorist Groups (CTGs), Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) sympathizers, at organized crime groups.
Layon din nito na mapaigting ang kapasidad ng mga mamamayan sa pagresponde sa mga manmade at natural disasters sa pamamagitan ng pagsasagawa ng mock Simulation Exercise (SIMEX) at Crisis Emergency Exercises (CEREX).
Ang naturang training ay nilahukan ng mga miyembro ng Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine National Police, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Provincial Security Unit, at mga Emergency Medical Services and Responders.
