Yanna’s driver’s license suspended for 90 days

Motovlogger Yanna will face a 90-day suspension of her driver’s license, according to Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Vince Dizon in a press briefing on Monday.

Dizon said he has directed the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to immediately suspend for 90 days any driver caught on video committing traffic violations.

“No investigation, no hearing. If we see a video with enough proof that you abused traffic rules, your licenses are suspended automatically,” Dizon stated, while encouraging the public to help identify violators through submitted videos.

Yanna’s case stemmed from a viral video taken in Zambales showing her confronting another motorist. The video garnered more than 25 million views and drew public backlash.

Controversy grew over the sincerity of Yanna’s public apology, as the video remained on her page even after her statement. Critics questioned whether she truly regretted the incident.

As of this writing, the video is no longer visible on Yanna’s Facebook page.

The DOTr’s move is part of a stricter campaign against reckless driving, especially involving influencers who document road behavior for content.
