Vice President Sara Duterte said she will continue her fight against the greed of certain high-ranking government officials.
This came as she released the year-end report of the Office of the Vice President (OVP).
In her video statement, Duterte said they will keep showing the public that their office values proper planning, effective project implementation, and the fight against corruption.
VP Sara also highlighted several accomplishments of her office.
She reported that 875,176 commuters have benefited from the OVP’s free bus ride program; nearly 5,000 individuals received medical assistance; and almost 1,400 were provided with burial assistance.
Additionally, more than 73,100 were assisted through the Disaster Operations Center. The OVP also distributed around 2,600 sacks of rice to residents affected by the earthquake in Cebu and the unrest of Mt. Kanlaon.
