According to the driver’s child, the minivan had previously experienced brake-related problems before the accident.

Authorities have yet to release further findings as the investigation remains ongoing.

The crash adds to concerns over vehicle roadworthiness and the importance of regular maintenance, particularly for vehicles traveling on steep roads and downhill routes.

Local authorities are expected to continue examining the mechanical condition of the vehicle as part of their investigation into the fatal accident.

The damaged house sustained structural impact from the collision, though no injuries among its occupants were reported in the initial police findings.
