Three young women were robbed inside their rented apartment in Lucena City, with one of them assaulted by an unidentified suspect on Wednesday, March 5.
According to police reports, the incident occurred around 7:00 a.m. when the suspect broke into the building and entered the victims’ room. The victims, aged 18, 22, and 23, were threatened at knifepoint while the suspect took their belongings, including cellphones, a laptop, jewelry, and cash, amounting to approximately ₱119,000.
After taking their valuables, the suspect tied up the victims using shoelaces. When two of the women resisted, the suspect allegedly groped them before targeting one of them for further assault. The suspect then fled the scene.
Authorities are conducting an investigation to identify and apprehend the suspect.
