Speed limit law set for activation in General Santos City

The Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU) General Santos has started activating the speed limit in the city for safer roads.

Plt. Col. Patrich Elma, TEU-Gensan head, said the move aims to reduce accidents involving vehicles speeding beyond the normal rate.

TEU Gensan’s enforcement will strictly follow the national law on speed limits, targeting busy roads prone to frequent traffic incidents.

Local government officials are studying the full implementation of speed limits, especially for national roads, to ensure proper support and compliance.
