Refused to chip in for alcohol, 2 men stabbed dead in Camarines Sur

Two men from Davao Oriental were stabbed to death on Tuesday night after allegedly refusing to contribute to a liquor session in Barangay San Agustin, Pili, Camarines Sur police said.

The Pili Municipal Police identified the suspect as a 38-year-old man known only as alias Vic. The victims, identified by their aliases Parak and Molong, were both newcomers to the area.

According to Police Lt. Col. Dennis Pabilonia, the three men were drinking past 10 p.m. when the dispute started. Vic allegedly asked the two to chip in for more alcohol. When they refused, a heated argument followed, eventually leading to the stabbing.

Both victims were rushed to the hospital but were declared dead on arrival.

The suspect was immediately arrested by responding officers and is now facing criminal charges.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
