Private companies join efforts to build “Bayanihan Village” in Cebu

Aid continues to pour into Cebu as private companies extend support to help the government establish the “Bayanihan Village” in the town of San Remigio.

This initiative follows the recent earthquake that struck the province.

In a statement, Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling said two private companies have deployed personnel to assist government workers in installing modular shelter units (MSUs), which will serve as temporary homes for families who lost their houses due to the magnitude 6.9 quake.
