Vice President Sara Duterte shared that she went through what she described as a “professional crisis” when she was still part of President Bongbong Marcos’ Cabinet.
Speaking at the World Pandesal Day celebration in Quezon City, she said that period was not easy for her.
According to Duterte, she was simply doing her job at the time, yet she felt that the administration was attacking her.
She added that it took her a long time to realize her worth as a government official.
She also stressed that the government should not have treated her unfairly, especially since she was not doing anything wrong to the administration.
In the end, VP Sara said her only decision was to leave her post.
It can be recalled that since stepping down, Duterte has made several statements indicating tensions between her and the administration.
