Prince William plans new royal title for Lady Louise as she follows Queen Elizabeth’s legacy

Lady Louise Windsor, daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, may soon receive a new royal title as Prince William recognizes her commitment to duty and military service.

Lady Louise follows Queen Elizabeth’s legacy

The 21-year-old royal was recently seen in full military uniform, marking a historic milestone for the royal family. She has joined the St Andrews University Officers’ Training Corps, making her the first female royal to serve in the military since her late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, who enlisted in the Auxiliary Territorial Serviceduring World War II.

According to insiders, Prince William, 42, views Lady Louise as an asset to the royal family and wants to reward her efforts.

“William’s serious about her becoming a working royal,” a royal source revealed. “He’s even prepared to give her a new title to reflect her dedication.”

Prince William sees Lady Louise as a key figure

The Prince of Wales has reportedly been impressed by Lady Louise’s commitment to royal duties over the years. Unlike some of her royal cousins, she has maintained a low profile while balancing her university studies and military training.

“The devotion she’s shown over the years will only improve after her military service,” the insider added. “She’s a very impressive young lady, and William knows she could be an important figure in the family moving forward.”

Royal family dynamics shift

With the royal family undergoing major changes, speculation has grown over Lady Louise taking on a bigger role. Despite being 17th in line to the throne, her grace, discipline, and commitment to duty have positioned her as a respected royal figure.

Although Lady Louise was eligible to adopt the title of ‘Princess’ upon turning 18, she opted to continue using her lesser-known style. Her decision mirrored her parents’ wishes, as Prince Edward and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, chose not to give their children HRH titles at birth.

Despite this, Prince William’s push to elevate her status signals a greater role for Lady Louise within The Firm, particularly as senior royals take on more responsibility.
