Authorities are intensifying their investigation into the murder of stand-up comedian Gold Dagal, who was shot inside a beer house in Angeles City, Pampanga.
According to Philippine National Police (PNP) Spokesperson and PRO-3 Regional Director BGen. Jean Fajardo, investigators have identified leads based on recovered CCTV footage and evidence from the crime scene.
Initial findings reveal that Dagal suffered a gunshot wound below the eye, with the bullet exiting through the back of his head. Spent .45 caliber shell casings were recovered at the scene.
CCTV footage captured three individuals who may have been involved in the crime. Authorities are working to determine their identities.
Police are also coordinating with Dagal’s friends and relatives to gather additional information that could aid the investigation.
Fajardo has ordered the formation of a Special Investigation Task Group and sought assistance from the National Operating Support Unit of PRO-3 to expand the probe.
Investigators are now analyzing all available evidence to establish the motive behind the attack and track down the perpetrators.
